Fonda Economics 101

Jane Fonda is not receiving a “bum rap” (Calendar Letters, May 16, 1988).
What rankles Calendar letter writers is her hypocrisy. This is the dame who has ranged the world attacking the American free-enterprise system.
Then, with a golden opportunity to demonstrate her commitment and show us all what she means, she bypasses California locales and our huge ethnic Mexican/Latino community to film “Old Gringo” in Mexico, the exact purpose being to avoid paying the wages required here in the United States.
So what happened to her “economic democracy”? All depends on whose ox (bull?) is being gored, eh Jane?
