Griffin Is Just What the Dodgers Needed
For all the money that was spent for Gibson, Orosco and Davis, and all the controversy surrounding Guerrero and Marshall, it is evident to me that the best Dodger deal was for Alfredo Griffin.
Not only is he getting key hits, but his performance at shortstop surpasses Mariano Duncan’s wildest dreams. He is graceful and quick. Thank you, Fred Claire, for your insight.
