Derelict Sub Towed Back to S. Carolina Home Port

CHARLESTON, S.C. — The crippled and abandoned submarine Bonefish was towed into its home port Friday, five days after a fire and explosion rocked the vessel off the Florida coast and killed three crewmen. A spokesman for the Charleston Naval Base said an investigation of the accident, which also injured 22 crewmen, is continuing.
