More Wet Seal: Irvine-based Wet Seal recently opened its 49th store, in Lakewood Center Mall. The 3,750-square-foot store, like others in the chain, is in an enclosed mall.
Wet Seal, a privately owned chain that features specialty junior wear, has also added Jean Hines as regional director of its stores in Central California. Hines, who will manage district managers and oversee store display, spent the past 14 years with Wet Seal’s arch-competitor, Contempo Casuals.
