EUREKA, Calif. — Humboldt County investigators have found three bodies believed to be those of three teen-agers who disappeared six weeks ago, Sheriff Dave Renner said Friday.
Searchers found the bodies in the northeastern corner of the county Thursday, according to Renner, who said a man is being sought. He would not disclose other details, including the cause of death, but said the case was being investigated as a homicide.
Robert Ryan Robbins, 19; Leo Carter Nix, 18, and Lynn Marie Masten, 16, were last seen in a pickup March 2. On March 3, the truck was found with bullet holes and human blood stains.
The bodies were found 10 to 15 miles from where the truck was located, the sheriff said.
