Local News in Brief : Placentia : Teacher in Sex Case Sued by Student, 14
A junior high schoolteacher who pleaded no contest to charges that he sexually molested a 14-year-old student was sued by the girl Thursday in Orange County Superior Court.
Gary Lawrence Lee, a former music teacher and band leader at Kraemer Junior High School in Placentia, pleaded no contest in February to charges of molesting the girl.
The suit, which also names the Placentia Unified School District, among other defendants, seeks unspecified damages.
