Manhattan Beach Firm Acquires Cabinet Maker

Corporate Data Sciences Inc. bought all the issued and outstanding capital stock of Medallion Kitchens of Minnesota Inc. on March 24 for a total of $3.75 million, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Corporate Data said it paid for the stock with $2.75 million in cash and $1 million in promissory notes, payable in two years at an interest rate of 9%.
Medallion Kitchens makes kitchen and bathroom cabinets. Corporate Data, based in Manhattan Beach, makes microcomputer peripherals.
