Santa Monica Kickers Honored

Santa Monica High School’s Darren Burris, a senior forward, and Ty Miller, a junior midfielder, were named to the All-Southern Section 4-A boys soccer team. Three others from Santa Monica made the second team: senior forwards Javier Becerra and Scott Fite and senior goalkeeper Erik Resnick.

Others named to All-Southern Section teams included St. Bernard senior midfielder John Melendez, a first-team 1-A boys selection, and Brentwood senior defender Rachel Hartshorn, a third-team 2-A girls selection.
