4.9 Quake Rattles Greece

ATHENS — An earthquake measuring 4.9 on the Richter Scale shook Athens and the northern city of Thessaloniki on Tuesday but no damage was reported, the Geological Institute said. The epicenter of the quake was 226 miles southeast of Athens in the sea off Ayios Nikolaos in Crete.
