I was shocked to see that your article on Sea World (“Park Hopes to Shatter Attendance Records in a Yearlong Celebration,” March 22) did not mention the purchase and immediate closure of Marineland by Sea World parent company Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, a deal that still smells worse than old fish. Of course Sea World should expect increased attendance, having monopolized the Southern California marine amusement park market.
