Oscars & Other Oddities

The Academy Awards presentation was one of the most entertaining ever.
I think it was clearly illustrated that writers are not needed to put awkward words into the mouths of people who are not naturally funny.
Hire comedians and let them run free with just a bit of guidance and a performing plan. Let each professional do what he does best.
The recipients of the awards kept their time on stage short and the comedians kept the interest keen. It was a good balance. The writers strike was a blessing. Let’s hope the academy noticed the comparison to years past.
