Mr. Prez

In George C. Scott’s “The Casual Assassination of ‘Mr. President’ � (April 3), I was relieved to read of his lack of creative input to the innocuous sitcom and dismayed that he, as his alter ego implied, “let the people down.�

Hopefully, by his own admission of not giving the show what all his adoring fans (well deserved by his brilliant talent) expected, he will try again--or do it right this time!
