Local News in Brief : Actor Arrested for Drugs

Actor Jan-Michael Vincent was arrested on suspicion of illegal drug possession after a routine traffic stop in Agoura Hills, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.
Deputies said 15 amphetamine tablets were found in Vincent’s possession when the Mercedes-Benz driven by his wife was stopped at 8 p.m. Wednesday. Vincent, 42, of Malibu, was released from the sheriff’s Malibu substation on $1,000 bail.
Vincent, who starred in the mid-’80s TV series “Airwolf,” has had a series of legal problems dating back to 1983, when he was placed on probation after pleading guilty to drunk driving.
