The “Grease” episode of “Head of the Class” was really a nice opportunity to see the show’s talented actors using some of their musical skills. However, it is unfair and just plain wrong to depict those who work backstage as frustrated actors. A stage manager is a skilled and experienced person with a diverse knowledge of theater technology, not someone who bombs out at auditions. I hope the producers of this program will show more respect in the future for their peers backstage by not perpetuating such a false image.
