Local News in Brief : Thousand Oaks Man Burned in Condo Fire

A 60-year-old Thousand Oaks man suffered second-degree burns on his face and arms in a fire early Saturday in his condominium, the Ventura County Fire Department reported.
Joseph Kiebel was treated at Los Robles Regional Medical Center and released, a hospital spokeswoman said.
The fire caused an estimated $50,000 damage to his condominium in the 2200 block of Olivewood Drive, Fire Department spokeswoman Debra Davis said.
The 6:28 a.m. fire was caused by a malfunctioning electric blanket, Davis said.
