‘Stamp of Approval’ for Postage Hike
On March 22, I received a letter from Boston (addressed correctly), postmarked March 9. For this 13-day coast-to-coast service, we are now going to have to pay 25 cents per first-class postage stamp. I, for one, protest this decreased service at an increased cost. I am going to make every effort to pay monthly bills in person, rather than by mail, and I will use the telephone whenever possible as an alternative.
