Equity’s New Theater Plan

Audiences in Los Angeles would do well to observe the burgeoning activity in the city’s 99-seat Equity Waiver theaters while mid-size houses (such as the Coronet, Las Palmas and Westwood Playhouse) falling under Equity’s current contract are dark most days of the year.
With that kind of track record, one wonders just what Equity has in mind for the future of Los Angeles theater.
