North
I’ve worked it out that the split among my fellow citizens over whether Lt. Col. Oliver North is a hero or a bum describes the citizens more than it does North. Those who knock North are, in my opinion, likely to see Congress as more important to our nation than the President. Those who talk about loyalty to Ronald Reagan want a monarch to tell them what to do instead of deciding things for themselves.
It takes all kinds of people to make a world, I guess, but it takes a preponderance of adults to make a democracy work.
