CSX Corp. agreed to buy 25% of the outstanding common stock of Country Wide Transport Services, a trucking firm based in Pomona, from Clyde M. Fuller, former chairman of Country Wide. The price was $8.8 million. In addition, Richmond, Va.-based CSX obtained an option from Ken Adams, Country Wide’s current chairman and president, to purchase his 26.1% of company stock. Terms of the option say it can be exercised between Jan. 1, 1993, and March 31, 1993, for not less than $9.2 million.
