Kings Call Up 3 Players From New Haven
The injury riddled Kings announced Monday that three players will be recalled from their New Haven, Conn., farm club of the American Hockey League.
Defensemen Eric Germain and John English and winger Paul Guay will be in uniform Wednesday night when the Kings play host to the Calgary Flames in the Kings’ final home game of the regular season.
Six members of the Kings are sidelined with injuries: defensemen Ken Hammond, Dean Kennedy, Larry Playfair and Jay Wells, and wingers Phil Sykes and Jim Fox.
Hammond has a sprained knee and ankle; Kennedy has an injured hip; Playfair has a chest contusion; Wells has a strained groin; Sykes has a strained neck, and Fox has a bruised knee.
