Kaufman & Broad Home Corp.’s revenue rose 22% to $134.9 million for the first quarter ended Feb. 29 from $110.5 million last year, the company announced. Income for the period was up 50% to $7 million from $4.7 million in the previous year. The Los Angeles-based builder of single-family homes attributed the performance to higher home prices and stable interest rates in the United States, and “extremely strong†housing sales in California and France, the company’s primary markets.
