Eleven singers were selected as winners Sunday at the 34th annual Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions. Each won a grant of $5,000 and an opportunity to sing in the annual winners concert on the stage of the Metropolitan Opera House on April 10. The 26 finalists were judged by 12 members of the Metropolitan Opera artistic staff.
