Little League Baseball invited the Soviet Union to join the organization, and the Soviets have accepted, it was announced by Dr. Creighton J. Hale, president and chief executive officer of Little League Baseball Inc.
Hale said the Soviets should have Little League teams next year and predicted they will soon be playing in the Little League World Series.
