Lazers Will Face Sidekicks Today
The Lazers, who lost to the Steamers, 8-7, Friday in St. Louis, have returned home for three games, beginning today at 1:30 p.m. against the Major Indoor Soccer League’s defending champion Dallas Sidekicks at the Forum.
Dallas is 3-0 against the Lazers this season. In their last meeting, the Sidekicks blocked a league-record 40 shots in a 4-2 victory.
With 15 games remaining, the Lazers (20-21) are in fourth place in the Western Division, trailing the Kansas City Comets by a half-game. The Sidekicks (22-21) are in second place in the East, 3 games behind Minnesota.
