The Hair-Impaired Actor

I had to laugh at Bill Turner’s letter.

What a silly thing to be bothered about. My father is an actor who has worn a piece for years, and there is no doubt in my mind (nor his) that this addition has enhanced his appearance, and thus, his career.

Turner refers to himself as “Balding but proud,†but going bald is nothing to be proud of. It can happen to anyone, like cancer. I suspect that he may have more (false) pride than men who do wear “wigs.†What a nincompoop he is.

I’m glad, though, because--thanks to people like Turner--your letter section is often a wonderful source of amusement. Keep printing those letters from Joe and Mary Narrowminded.
