Women’s Basketball Roundup : Azzi and Yanke Lead Stanford Past USC

Jennifer Azzi scored a career-high 21 points and Jill Yanke had 18 points and 13 rebounds to lead Stanford to a 77-67 victory over USC in a Pacific 10 game at Stanford.
The win lifted the Cardinal into a second-place tie with the Trojans at 14-3, one game behind Washington.
Paula Pyers led USC with 20 points.
UCLA, 81, California 63--At Berkeley, Dora Dome scored 16 points, and Althea Ford and Rachelle Roulier had 14 apiece in the Bruins’ win over California.
