Joe Capobianco, Hughes Aircraft’s top executive in the field of air traffic control, has been promoted to group vice president. He will continue to serve as manager of the Advanced Automation System division of the company’s Ground Systems Group, Fullerton. Capobianco, a 31-year Hughes employee, is leading the company’s effort in developing a new U.S. air traffic control system.
