Two world title bouts will be held at the Forum Feb. 29. Carlos Zarate (62-3) faces Daniel Zaragoza (55-4) for the vacant WBC super-bantamweight championship. In the second title bout, Azumah Nelson (26-1) meets Mario Martinez (34-4) for the WBC super-featherweight title, which is also vacant.

This is Zarate’s third try for the super-bantam championship. He’s 11-1 since launching a comeback in 1986. The loss was to Australian Jeff Fenech last October, for the super-bantamweight championship. Both Zarate and Zaragoza are former WBC bantamweight champions.
