Two More Palestinians Killed

TEL AVIV — Israeli troops beat a Palestinian schoolboy to death after taking him from his home in a Gaza Strip refugee camp, a senior U.N. official said today.
A witness from Bureij camp, Khalil Mohammed, said 15-year-old Iyad Mohammed Aqel’s head was “beaten to pulp, his hands were bruised and swollen and his back was black and blue.” In the West Bank, a 25-year-old Palestinian was shot dead today--apparently by an Israeli civilian--in the village of Kafr Kadum near Nablus. Witnesses said a 50-year-old settler named Shimon from the neighboring Jewish settlement of Kedumim was responsible for the shooting.
