Thomas H. Quinn was named vice president and general manager of FDR Field Service, Tustin, a subsidiary of American Express. He succeeds Norm Shepherd, who left the company. Quinn, who had been vice president of sales and marketing, will be responsible for sales, operations and financial performance of the five divisions that make up FDR, which provides maintenance for point-of-sale equipment and computer terminals.
