Jerome H. Miller has been named a vice chairman of Shearson Lehman Hutton and a director of Shearson Lehman Bros., the broker-dealer subsidiary. Miller is also a member of the planning group, Shearson Lehman’s principal policy-making committee.
He will jointly direct the company’s domestic branch system with Vice Chairman Joel Margolies. Miller previously was senior executive vice president at E. F. Hutton & Co. Shearson Lehman’s acquisition of Hutton is expected to be completed in the first quarter of this year.
