Boys’ Basketball : 3 Bell-Jeff Players Score in Double Figures in Win

Bell-Jeff’s Nick Sanderson scored a game-high 17 points--one of three Guards in double figures--to lead Bell-Jeff to a 66-41 victory over Pater Noster in a Santa Fe League game at Pater Noster on Saturday night.
Senior center Henry Polee came off the bench to score 16 points and Greg Dunn added 15 for Bell-Jeff (12-6, 8-2). The Guards, who are one game behind league-leading Cathedral, were 25 of 49 from the field as they won their fifth consecutive league game.
Harvard 63, Salesian 61--Rick Osterloh made two free throws with 11 seconds to play for the Saracens in a Santa Fe League game at Harvard. Bryan Domyan scored a team-high 16 points, and Geoff Given added 14 points and Bob Hillman scored 12 for Harvard (10-6, 8-2).
St. Genevieve 73, La Salle 58--Ruben Aguirre scored a career-high 26 points and Mike Walker added 15 to lead St. Genevieve to a Santa Fe League victory at La Salle.
Faith Baptist 87, Oakwood 50--The Contenders, behind a second-quarter full-court press, turned a five-point lead into a 43-18 halftime advantage on their way to a nonleague victory at Faith Baptist.
David Hairston led Faith Baptist (13-4) with 24 points and 11 assists.
Brentwood 70, Providence 47--Mike Victor scored 20 points to lead Brentwood in a Delphic League game at Providence. Providence (1-14, 07) lost its ninth consecutive game.
