Frenchman Bruno Saby won the Monte Carlo Rally in his 14th attempt, after leading the 1,250-mile race from the start.
Saby, 39, and co-driver Jean Francois Fauchille drove their Lancia Delta to a nearly 11-minute victory in the first of 11 rallies this year counting toward the world championship.
