Georgia Women Beat CS Long Beach, 74-64

Stacey Ford came off the bench to score 14 points and lead Georgia to a 74-64 nonconference win over the Cal State Long Beach women’s basketball team Wednesday night before 1,020 fans at Athens, Ga.
Sherelle Warren also scored 14 points and had 8 rebounds for Georgia (13-4).
Penny Toler and Shannon Smith each scored 12 points for the 49ers. Smith had 9 rebounds.
Long Beach (8-4) will play against Old Dominion at Norfolk, Va., Friday night.
