Freshman Roulier Leads Bruin Women
Freshman guard Rachelle Roulier made 5 of 6 free throws in the last 1:39 and scored the last 7 points for UCLA as the Bruin women defeated Oregon, 77-70, Friday night at Pauley Pavilion.
Roulier finished with a career-high 23 points.
The Bruins (8-5 overall and 2-0 in the Pacific 10) have won five straight.
Stefanie Kasperski had 24 points and 11 rebounds for Oregon (7-5, 0-2). UCLA sophomore forward Sandra VanEmbricqs had a career-high 15 rebounds and scored 13 points.
UCLA plays host to Pepperdine Tuesday night and faces USC at Pauley Pavilion next Friday night.
