Frank Reinhart has been appointed vice president of research and development for the disk-products division of Toshiba America, Irvine. In the newly created position, Reinhart will be responsible for all product development, product planning, technical planning and sales and support staff training relating to new products for the company’s line of floppy, Winchester and optical disk drives. Before the appointment, Reinhart had been vice president of application products and services for McDonnell Douglas Computer Systems.
