I wonder if your article (“Scientists Find Gene that Determines Embryo’s Sex,� Dec. 23) describing the discovery of a gene in the Y chromosome that is part of the inborn genetic code of men (but not of women) will signify a growth in the popularity of the name Gene for new-born male babies?
