No Longer Missing, He’s Under Arrest
TACOMA, Wash. — A missing fisherman called police to tell them he was safe and was arrested because officers discovered during the search that he was wanted.
Pierce County Sheriff’s Lt. Jeff Edmunds said the search for Ken R. Anhorn began Monday after other fishermen found a boat capsized on Lake Kapowsin.
Divers found Anhorn’s fishing license but no other sign of him. Anhorn later learned of the search and notified police of his whereabouts, Edmunds said.
Police said Anhorn, who was convicted of second-degree attempted robbery in 1984, was arrested on suspicion of violating conditions of his parole.
