PREP BASKETBALL : Estancia Upsets Marina, 63-62

Marina High School forward Steve Guild was on the free-throw line with no time remaining and his team trailing Estancia by two points in the second round of the Irvine World News tournament Tuesday at Woodbridge High School. Guild made the first but missed the second of two free throws as Estancia (7-1) upset Orange County’s top-ranked team, 63-62.
Mike Curtis led Estancia with 18 points. Guild scored 25 points for Marina (7-1), and center Danny Floyd added 19 points.
