Beverly Hills : Educator Named to State Post

Carol Katzman, director of education services for the city’s unified school district, has been selected chairman of the California Curriculum Commission, an advisory body to the State Board of Education.
Katzman, who was named to the commission in 1984, was selected chairman by commission members at a recent meeting in Los Angeles. The members are appointed to four-year terms by State Supt. of Public Instruction Bill Honig.
