Pepperdine Takes On Nevada Reno Tonight

Pepperdine, 2-0 after Tuesday night’s 91-89 victory over UC Irvine, will play host to Nevada Reno at 7:30 tonight at Firestone Fieldhouse in Malibu.

Craig Davis, who finished with 24 points, sank a game-winning jump shot with six seconds left as the Waves edged the Anteaters at Malibu.

Nevada Reno and first-year Coach Len Stevens, the former Washington State coach, opened the season at home Tuesday night with an 84-67 victory over UC Davis. The Wolfpack was led by Darryl Owens with 21 points and Bryon Strachan with 19.
