Ramos Fights Starks at Irvine Marriott

Alex Ramos, a member of the 1980 Olympic boxing team, will fight Rod Starks tonight in the 10-round main event of the monthly boxing program at the Irvine Marriott Hotel.
Ramos (27-5-2), of New York, would have been the middleweight in the 1980 Olympics at Moscow, but the United States boycotted the Games for political reasons.
Starks (10-4), of Huntington Beach, earned his first main event with three consecutive victories in six-round bouts at Irvine.
