Pasadena : Rezoning Held for Project
Plans to build a law center on the grounds of the old Vista del Arroyo hotel won a boost this week from the Board of Directors, which agreed to delay rezoning the property to keep its price down.
The board has been considering rezoning the property to allow residential development, a move that would increase the price of the land and make it more difficult for the law center proposal to succeed.
The board agreed Monday to delay the rezoning for six months to allow the group of federal judges backing the plan to firm up the financial support needed to complete the project.
