Chief of Stuttgart’s Stock Exchange Slain

STUTTGART, West Germany — The head of the Stuttgart stock market, Gerhard Burk, was stabbed to death and police said today they are holding his girlfriend on suspicion of murder.
The police said an argument broke out on Friday evening between Burk, 61, and his 41-year-old girlfriend in his car. The woman, a secretary, then took a knife lying close by and stabbed him, they said.
