Play-Writing Contest to Award $1,500 at Pepperdine
- Share via
Pepperdine University will award $1,500 to the winner of its play-writing competition, which is open to amateurs and professionals.
Original works submitted for consideration must be full-length comedies or dramas, with six to 12 cast members, including men and women, in university-student age range.
Since the university’s philosophy of education stresses Christian values, scripts should have a theme dealing with a moral or ethical issue.
The deadline for entries is Tuesday. The winning play may be used for the theater department’s summer 1988 production in Malibu and the 1988 Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland.
