Family Dead for Weeks but Toddler Survives

KANSAS CITY, Kan. — An 18-month-old girl was in fair condition Saturday after being found alive in a house with the bodies of her mother, father and infant sister, who had been dead for about two weeks, authorities said.
The parents had been shot to death, perhaps in a murder-suicide, and the younger child died of neglect some time later, they said.
Authorities were not sure whether the toddler had found food on her own.
