ESTEPONA, Spain — Kidnappers holding the 5-year-old U.S.-born daughter of a wealthy Lebanese and his wife have demanded $13 million for her return, news reports said Monday.
The Madrid newspaper ABC said an anonymous caller told the newspaper Sunday that Raymond and Kimera Nakachian have until today to pay the ransom for their daughter, Melodie.
Four hooded men abducted the girl Nov. 9 from a car as she was being driven to school in nearby Marbella on Spain’s Costa del Sol.
The Nakachians moved to the Costa del Sol a year ago from Paris.
