James G. Karsatos, president and chief operating officer, has taken the additional titles of chairman and chief executive of Compton Forge Inc., which manufactures customized and standard forgings. He succeeds Erwood Edgar, who has relinquished all titles and duties except membership on the board of the company, which is wholly owned by his family. Karsatos most recently served as a consultant to several corporations in turnaround situations.
