Cuesta Tops Pierce in Wrestling, 27-18
Gary Dickerson and Craig Williams pinned their opponents but host Pierce College lost its Western State Conference wrestling match against Cuesta, 27-18, Wednesday night.
Dickerson won the 181-pound weight class and Williams won the 193-pound class. Pierce (0-4 in conference matches) also received victories from C. K. Hoenes (121-pound) and Dennis Rulli (137).
Cuesta improved to 2-2 in conference standings.
