Towing

Something has got to be done about the parasites in the towing industry. All of us have had horror stories trying to get our cars out of impound yards. A young employee of mine had an accident on a recent rainy night. The police called a tow truck and they asked if they wanted it towed to their house or to their yard.
Not thinking they said the yard. After two days of negotiating, the tow firm wanted $51 for towing and $25 a day storage too, and if it is not paid immediately in cash it goes up $25 each day. Tow operators have the public over the barrel. They are truly the scum of the world. Why can’t they be more effectively regulated by the police departments who give them a license to steal.
